Offset Printing

Offset printing is the most common printing technique for high volume, high-quality projects. It is a technique whereby an inked image is transferred (offset) from a plate to a rubber blanket, then to paper. This means that the cost per unit often goes down as the quantity goes up.

Metro’s offset printing is fully equipped and staffed to handle your larger printing projects.

We have 3 Web presses and 1 Sheet-fed press for fast and accurate service. Our ten-color Muller Martini UV web press runs efficiently, and can perforate or die-cut while printing. It is even capable of rewinding your print job roll-to- roll for offline variable imaging.

Our five-color 28” Komori sheet-fed press ensures that your projects are done with precision. It can even remember the ink settings for a specific job meaning you get consistent looking reprints when you need them.

Metro always uses environmentally friendly UV ink technology. We provide flood or spot varnish finishes, cross rotary and pattern perforations inline to save time and cost. Metro can print envelopes with up to two colors to enhance the final look of your project.
