LEAD Sales Representative

Metro Print and Mail Solutions is currently seeking a goal-oriented, energetic sales professional to join our team in Sacramento, CA.

Metro Print and Mail Solutions has earned a solid reputation in the print and mail industry for 30 years. We are a full service print and mail house, capable of fulfilling all of your clients’ web, sheet-fed and digital printing needs. We also have graphic design and typesetting available.

In our pressroom, we have a Muller Alprinta that provides ten-colors (4 over 4 plus spot or varnish) and inline bindery capabilities, a Komori sheet-fed that is a five color plus aqueous and two-eight color Sanden web presses. From magazines and presentation folders, to direct mail and posters, to flyers and pamphlets, with coating and finishing methods, we can fulfill a wide variety of print. 

Our Digital department has a Xerox Colorpress 1000i that has spot varnish capabilities and 2 high volume black and white Nuvera machines. 

Metro has a full in-house bindery department, a large format department and offer screen printing and embroidery. 

We are a Union shop that offers everything under one roof.

Customer Service Representative

We are a Commercial Print and Mail Company that is currently seeking a full time customer service representative that oversee’s jobs through production for order fulfillment of print and mail related services.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Provide all necessary support to sales/customer, including the following: receive calls, faxes, mail, and email; identify and resolve customer problems and issues in a timely manner.  Handle customer concerns/issues as needed.
  • Create Job Tickets, process orders and changes as required.
  • Review incoming artwork/mailing specifications as needed for order processing purposes.
  • Coordinate proof approval process with customer through written and verbal communication. Review proofs against original artwork to ensure printing and mailing specs are maintained.
  • Act as a communication link between external customer and all internal departments.
  • Any other duties as required or assigned.

Required Skills:

  • Must have strong organizational skills with ability to manage deadlines and prioritize workload and make adjustment to meet business needs.

  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills to communicate effectively across departments when completing assignments.

  • Able to consistently apply applicable policies, procedures, regulations, and program objectives when carrying out the duties of the job.

  • Must have advanced knowledge of MS Office applications.
