History of Metro Print and Mail Solutions

We have served the greater Sacramento area since we opened our doors in March of 1987. Metro has continued to keep the same integrity and service since opening day. When Gary Meredith, President and original owner established Metro Mailing Service, Inc. it had only 5 employees and a small building. Within two years the business grew exponentially and Metro staffed more than 40 employees. Metro Mailing Service provided complete mailing services for all classes and types of mailings.

In 1993 our printing division was established. In two years that print division had three Didde Web Presses, which had 6 color U.V. capabilities. Soon Metro had a fulfillment department, high speed Xerox imaging equipment and literature storage.

Our businesses expansion has always been fueled by our customers’ needs, required special machinery and more production space. To accommodate the needs of our customers and growing business a custom 115,000 square foot building was built and opened its doors in April of 2000.

We continually expand our investment in state-of-the-art equipment. By 2006 we had a 10 color UV press with coating and bindery capabilities. Our building is highly secured to maintain maximize security for our customers. With such diversity and security available, our customers are given several solutions provided by one business partner.
